    Jessie Lucile Barnhouse is listed as having died in Reseda, Calif. It is a district of Los Angles. Here's some info from Wikipedia: The area now known as Reseda was originally inhabited by Native Americans of the Tongva tribe that lived close to the Los Angeles River. Reseda originated as a farm town named "Marian" (or "Rancho Marian") that appeared in 1912. Its namesake, Marian Otis Chandler, was the daughter of Los Angeles Times publisher Harrison Gray Otis, a director of the Los Angeles Suburban Homes Company. H J Whitley was the manager of the Los Angeles Suburban Home Company. The Western Division of the Pacific Electric Railway 'Red Cars Line' expedited development after the Los Angeles Aqueduct brought water to City of L.A. annexed Marion. About 1920, Reseda\emdash named after a fragrant North African yellow-dye plant, Reseda odorata, whose English name is mignonette and which grows in hot, dry climates\emdash replaced Marian as a designation for a stop on the Pacific Electric interurban railway running along Sherman Way. The name "Reseda" was given first to a siding on a branch of the Southern Pacific Railroad in the south San Fernando Valley.

July 4, 1813 in Huntingdon Cty PA removed to Jefferson Cty, OH in 1830. After her marriage to Jacob Barnhouse on May 9, 1839 in Harrison Cty they moved to Noble Cty. In an articular in the Caldwell OH newspaper on July 4 1885, she was interviewed and said her home was in Belle Valley. She was a widow before 1850. [I'm sorry, I didn't record who sent this to me.     (Research):In a communication on 12/30/2010 with jnnfrsnell1 who owns the Ancestry database Horrum Family Tree I have changed this Kay Barnhouse entry for Jacob Barnhouse's wife from Elizabeth Hull Cane to Elizabeth Jane Hull and have used the vital data from that family tree.

    This is wrong, back to Elizabeth Cane from Ohio marriages.

    George Barnhouse Will (Jefferson County Ohio Wills page 472) "I, George Barnhouse, of the County of Jefferson in the State of Ohio, do make and publish my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First it is my will that my funeral expenses, and all my just debts shall be fully paid. Second, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Susannah Barnhouse, the plantation on which we now reside, situated in Springfield Township, County and State aforesaid, containing one hundred and forty acres, being part of the South East quarter of Section 22, Township 11, Range 4. During her natural life if she sees proper to hold the same and all livestock, horses, cattle, sheep, and hogs with all the personal property to dispose of the same at pleasure. And at the decease of my said wife, all the property hereby divised or bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much thereof as may then remain unexpended, to be sold at public sale and the proceeds to be divided amongst by lawful heirs equally except my oldest son Benjamin Barnhouse, who shall not have as much as either of the other lawful heirs because he has already one hundred dollars more than any of the other heirs. Therefore, each and every one of my other lawful heirs or their heirs, shall first receive one hundred dollars each, after my said wife's death. And lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife, Susannah Barnhouse, and Jacob Smith of the township, county and state aforesaid to be the Executors of this my last will and testament.
