1. | William Carver was born on 6 Sep 1659 in Marshfield, New Plymouth Colony (son of John Carver and Millicent Ford); and died. Notes: Upon the death of John Carver (1679) before his father, Robert (1680), Robert made an agreement with William's mother Millicent to live with her for the rest of Robert's life. Upon Robert's death she was to receive his entire estate until William attained his majority whereupon he to receive half of the estate. Then at his mother's death, William was to receive the remaining half of the estate. |

4. | ![]() Notes: Robert Carver's first appearance in the New World was in New Plymouth Colony* on 3 Sep 1638 (18 years after the Mayflower), when at a Court of Assistants held at New Plymouth "Robert Carver is graunted 20 acres of land lying on the norwest side Greenes Harbor River and a garden place upon Stoney River" (in Duxbury)." He was made a freeman of the colony 7 Jun 1648. He left no will but soon after the death of his son John (the only child of whom there is any record) Robert made an agreement with John's widow, Millicent, whereby he was to live with her the remainder of his life. In return, she and her children were to have his entire estate until her eldest son, William, attained his majority at which time William was to acquire half of Robert's estate. Upon the death of Millicent, William was to acquire the other half of the estate. Robert married Christian (wife of Robert Carver) [?].
