[Names: wife, Nancy; children, Mona (Maria?), Harriet, Ellsey (Alice?), and Matilda. No son Abner Jr., nor Nicholas is mentioned]. 2. Abner Devore and wore, Maria, John Jacobs and others who had interest in the property (that Jonas Mann and his wife, Agnes, had surveyed and sold to David G. Devore), deeded this parcel of land to James B. Moore.

    (Research):Note: Red Oak Post Office 1865 to 1903 is now Redoak, an unincorporated community in Brown County, Ohio located at the junction of US 68 and US 65. It now consists of fewer than 10 homes and one building at the junction that could have been a gas station at one time.

    Nicholas married Sarah Decker on 5 Mar 1750/51 in New Jersey. Sarah died after 1785 in Mason County, Kentucky. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
