- Obituary in Fairview Republican Feb 9 1923 Jacob Barnhouse was born December 4th 1846 near Belle Valley, Ohio and died at Oklahoma City January 31st 1923 age 76 years, 1 month, and 27 days [yields correct birthdate]. He was taken suddenly ill with the flu and was sick only a few days. He leaves to mourn his loss three daughters, Mrs Eva Horrum of Adams, Neb., Miss Mary Barnhouse of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Grace Brinson of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Cleo February 2nd and interment made in the Square Cedar Cemetery.
